Report connects CIO Alusine Kanneh with Drug fugitive

The report by the Africa Confidential has linked Sierra Leone’s Chief Immigration Officer, Hon.Alusine Kanneh with close ties with Belle Jos who is wanted wanted in the Netherlands for drug trafficking office and other related offences.
The CIO remains the only government officer apart from for the recalled Ambassador to Guinea to have links with the drugs deal reports state ans why would president Bio not relieve him.off his duties remains a surprise .
So many a time successful Sierra Leoneans,some young enter politics to make a fortune and in such a vain they will mortgage their integrity and take the people for granted.
For goodness even if you are paid to defend a system ,do so with some amount of restraint because after all we will die someday all these all the we see as luxuriyom earth and even if one is alive after power ,one would not want to lose friends and became isolated just because of politics
Nothing worries a government than a story that has got out of hand also no story is told from no perspective .
This is the case with the government of Sierra Leone that has been making the news over the past weeks for the wrong reasons
These two incidents have made the rebranding efforts of the president receive a bit set back for a country that has a lot to do with in terms of image making.
President Bio came to power in 2018 after a stiffly contested elections with promise to institute discipline and rebrand the image of the country ,but from the look of things his government has caused more embarrassing incidents into the governance of the country ,if it is not engulfed in a corruption it would the month of January the image of the country and the image branding have seen dealt a severe blow by both the discovery of seven parcels of the contraband in the office of the country’s embassy in Guinea,Conakry and now Europe’s most wanted Netherlands convicted man was spotted into the country during a New Year Service seated closed to the daughter of the president in Tuhun.
What more can be embarrassing than the discoveries by the Reuters and Aljazeera news channels that ,the drug fugitive is having a relationship with the daughter of the president
What has further raised more eyebrows is the fact that the drug baron is enjoying security protection from the national security forces and also there are allegations that he is a close friend of Sierra Leone’s Chief Immigration Officer ,Hon.Alusime Kannah who by all indications has no business serving in that important and security sensitive institution as a result of his questionable character but what would you have us say when it “pleases the president”
The Ministry of Information and Civic Education has in its press statement continued to distance itself from the drug fugitive ,Leijdekkers also known as “Bolle Jos”.
For those following international events something is actually factual or true when it is officially denied by the government and it came to the conclusion that the drug fugitive is in Sierra Leone and has links with top officials like the CIO in the country whose office is responsible for the issuance of travelling documents including Passports
