The Deputy Leader of Government Business, Hon. Silikie Bashiru expressed optimism in the newly nominated members in different MDAS a in  the Well of parliament, banking on the wealth of experience and expertise in their previous field s of work.
In his expression during the   approval   of the members in parliament into areas like SLBC, Sports, SLMA  and GUMA VALLEY. He began by expressing satisfaction in the nomination of Mr. Nyalenkeh as a board Chairman of NSA. He continued that Mr. Nyalenkeh did very well in his previous position as a Sport Minister and continued that his nomination today as a Board Chair of NSA is not a surprised.

He further expressed his satisfaction that during his tenure as Sports  Minister Sierra Leone qualified to play AFCON in Cameroon, and believes that he will replicate the same knowledge and expertise in his new position.
The Deputy Leader of Government Business showered praises again to the revered lecturer and former president of the Academic Staff Association, Madam Williette James, whom she referred to as a woman of substance who has been holding key positions in the University of Sierra Leone. He expressed his expectation with no iota of doubt that the Board Chair of SLBC will use her knowledge and expertise to impact the SLBC.
However, the Hon.Basiru continued again with his praises that the lady lawyer who is currently the Legal Aid Board Manager, Madam Cicilia Tucker has made a land mark history in Legal Aid Board and believes such knowledge and expertise will same replicate to her current position as Board Chair SLBC. He  said this because of the ways in which she adjudicate matters of Legal Aid Board.
He spoke again about Madam Bintu Meyers, whom he said had served two years as a Member of Parliament and served as a Mayor in the one party system. He continued saying that he believes that her wealth of her experience in the diverse field of work will be used to add the face value of the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration.
The Deputy Leader of Government Business, Mr. Basiru further said though there has not been sufficient supply of water in the well of parliament, but believes the nomination Ing Fonnie in the GumaValley Water Company will restore the problem of water supply not only in parliament but the country at large. He said Mr. Fonnie who has over forty years experience with an international working experience in South Africa etc will use that expertise and knowledge to change the narrative of water scarcity.
